Job Title: SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant - Autism

Location: Leicester City

Type: Full-time Contract

Career Teachers is collaborating with an SEND School in Leicester to recruit a dedicated SEN teaching assistant to provide individualized support to a diverse group of students. • Act as a positive role model and manage student behavior effectively
• Create a safe learning environment with a child-centered approach
• Promote inclusivity and acceptance among all students
• Implement Individual Education Plans and Behavior Support Plans in collaboration with the teacher
• Assist the class teacher in planning, monitoring, and delivering engaging lessons

Key skills and experience required:

• Essential SEN experience, preferably with students with Autism
• Prior experience in school support or related child-focused roles
• Strong behavior management skills
• Professionalism and a positive, friendly demeanor
• Enthusiastic attitude towards supporting student development
