A new and exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic individual to join the Radiology PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications Team at NUH. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated to help deliver an efficient PACS service to the Trust. This is a permanent post working in an interesting and expanding team.

We are recruiting a Senior RIS Support Officer who will support the RIS Manager and PACS Manager to ensure Radiology's reporting systems are aligned to enable prompt reporting of imaging studies to support patient care across the wider Trust.


Part of their role will be as the lead administrator for the department's outsourcing of reporting liaising with departmental management and the outsourcing companies to ensure outsourced studies are reported within agreed SLA's.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities


The main responsibilities are:


To manage the day-to-day operational activities of the RIS service (CRIS, eRC), including maintaining system security, personnel, patient confidentiality, and providing guidance and resolving software problems where possible.

Be the key liaison with the outsourcing companies and ensure images are available to them as required.

Effectively and efficiently manage the housekeeping of RIS data within our two RIS systems.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and other interested parties with regards operational issues ensuring relevant information is communicated.

  • Educated to A level or equivalent experience or training.
Experience

  • Experience of using and supporting the maintenance of complex IT systems

  • Has a working knowledge and experience in the use of CRIS

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
