Empowering Learning is in need of a Behaviour Support Worker to join a fantastic SEND specialist school located near Gainsborough. Previous experience within a school environment and working with SEND students would be advantageous. Skills acquired from other industries will also be taken into consideration. Prior involvement in a care setting is beneficial, and a vibrant and positive demeanor is crucial.

• Have prior experience working with youth
• Possess the ability to assist individuals with significant needs
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and exceptional communication abilities
• Show a keen interest in working with, motivating, and aiding children
• Have a passion for supporting young people with a range of SEND
• Previous experience aiding children with extra requirements (preferred but not mandatory)
• Capable of providing teaching references to the school
• Act as a team player within the school community and engage in various school activities
• Understand how to manage children with diverse needs

• Assist the class teacher and fellow teaching assistants in daily class operations
• Support students during lessons and school activities
• Provide assistance to staff/students during lunch and break periods
• Oversee individualized learning for students based on their specific requirements
• Aid young individuals with their everyday care needs
• Handle a mix of SEND needs including non-verbal students
• Conduct 1:1 or small group tasks
• Document children's work to assist in their evaluations
