    Trainee Teaching Assistants

    Grade 2 SCP 3-4

    We are an 11-16 academy based in the large, north-east town of Middlesbrough.

We work to enable our students to become successful learners, to achieve the best they can in order to prepare them for life in the local and worldwide community.

    The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills which will allow them to engage with students and staff and will work as part of an inclusion team supporting students in all necessary interventions. Examples of the work the successful candidate will be expected to deliver are to:


    • Take responsibility for a caseload of students inside and outside of the classroom during structured or unstructured time.


    • Deliver intervention programs to individuals and small groups, preparing relevant and appropriate learning experiences in conjunction with the department staff.

    The hours of this position are Monday to Friday, working 6 hours per day, term time only.
