As a Teaching Assistant in a SEMH school, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oneonone and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere to encourage student's social and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to address the unique needs of each student.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, are preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- A genuine passion for helping students overcome social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

- A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
- A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
