Purchasing & Business Administrator


An exciting opportunity to work within the green economy for a people-orientated, pioneering leader in the custom LED lighting sector, based in Ulverston in stunning South Cumbria.

Mon-Fri - hours negotiable from a minimum 32 hours to full-time 37 hours considered over 4-5 working days.


What you'll do:
-


  • Manage purchase orders and production works orders from key suppliers.
  • Support both internal and external production planning.
  • Communicate with suppliers on expediting and pricing.
  • Development of supplier accounts and ensure KPI's are met.
  • Establish relationships to deliver an efficient procurement service to internal customers.
  • Processing of internal purchase/sample requests

You'll be:
-


  • An excellent communicator.
  • Enthusiastic and highly organised
  • Literate and numerate with good attention to detail.
  • Confident and able to prioritise workload and operate on own initiative.

You'll have:
-


  • A good level of IT skills especially Microsoft Office and Excel
  • 5+ GCSEs at A* C or equivalent (including Maths, English Language, and a Science) and a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent qualification/experience)
  • Some experience of working in a busy office in a purchasing / commercial role preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication skills
  • A flexible approach to work and happy to learn new skills

Salary:
£22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
