Job Introduction


As a Mobile Catering Supervisor you will use your own vehicle to travel to, and work from, any of our kitchens in the area to support our catering teams in every aspect of running a school kitchen, including serving school meals.

You will be able to work on your own initiative, with a passion for service and personal excellence to ensure a quality food service is delivered at all levels.

What you'll do:


  • Prepare, cook and serve food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned processes and procedures at all times
  • Monitoring the quality of the food and service provided, achieving good quality product and service on time and within budget
  • Be punctual with your timekeeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
  • Monitor and advise on stock usage; rotating stock, ensuring food stocks don't run out and ordering stock as required
  • Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
  • Take the lead in running a kitchen as and when requested to do so by the business

Requirements:

Kitchen/Catering experience and of cooking for high volumes is required for this role.

Supervisory/Team Leader experience would also be advantageous.

Additional Information


Due to the nature of the site an Enhanced DBS check will be required and paid for by the Company.
