An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Crewe Manufacturing Facility for a full time (38 hours per week) CNC Machinist - Manual Turner/Vertical Borer to join our team.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Set, load & operate x3 manual vertical Webster Bennett Lathe (36", 36" & 72")
  • Set, Load & operate manual lathe (Elliot)
  • Be proactive to maximize efficiency while maintaining 100% quality through independent & validation checks.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing engineers to improve quality and cycle time.

Essential and Desirable Skills:


  • Previous Experience working with multi axis CNC machines _(Essential)_
  • Experience working in a similar role, in a manufacturing or engineering environment _(Essential)_
  • Ability to follow plans with minimum supervision _(Essential)_
  • Must be efficient and have excellent attention to detail _(Essential)_
  • Previous experience working with raw castings _(Desirable)_
