As an Administrator within our Electrical Engineering Unit (EEU), you will play a vital role in supporting service request management, workforce planning, and information systems across the Unit.

Your responsibilities will include processing requisitions, work orders, and purchases on behalf of the Department's technicians and engineers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide secretary duties at key meetings, including arrangement, preparation of agendas, and minutes.
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft SharePoint websites for document storage, libraries, databases, and department intranet sites.
  • Administer the EEU's service request system, ensuring correct allocation and extracting reports/metrics.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:


  • National Certificate in business or engineeringrelated discipline, or other equivalent and relevant qualifications and professional experience demonstrating the ability to work at this level.
  • Previous technical administration experience.
  • Discreet and professional approach.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan workload.
  • IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  • Ability to develop Microsoft SharePoint websites and other intranet platforms, with development and training opportunities provided.
