- This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.
As an Administrator within our Electrical Engineering Unit (EEU), you will play a vital role in supporting service request management, workforce planning, and information systems across the Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secretary duties at key meetings, including arrangement, preparation of agendas, and minutes.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft SharePoint websites for document storage, libraries, databases, and department intranet sites.
- Administer the EEU's service request system, ensuring correct allocation and extracting reports/metrics.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- National Certificate in business or engineeringrelated discipline, or other equivalent and relevant qualifications and professional experience demonstrating the ability to work at this level.
- Previous technical administration experience.
- Discreet and professional approach.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan workload.
- IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
- Ability to develop Microsoft SharePoint websites and other intranet platforms, with development and training opportunities provided.
