Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Data Protection and Cyber Security Manager for our client, a prestigious firm based in London.
Reporting directly to the Director of Risk, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing the firm's data protection compliance, privacy, and cyber security initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Risk to develop the firm's information security and privacy strategy.
Lead continuous improvement efforts for the firm's data protection compliance programme to ensure alignment with current laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain data protection policies and procedures.
Liaise with data protection experts in the firm's international offices to ensure global compliance standards.
Stay abreast of developments in data protection laws and regulations, providing timely updates to the Director of Risk.
Provide expert advice and input on projects from a data protection compliance perspective.
Work closely with IT and IT Security teams to assess cyber and information security risks, and implement appropriate awareness and training programmes.
Conduct comprehensive data protection compliance assessments, including privacy impact assessments for new and existing data processing activities.Requirements:
4+ PQE E&W qualified Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR.Proven experience in developing and managing data protection compliance programmes.
