Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join the staff in the newly automated Stores section of the Pharmacy department at Queens Hospital, Essex.

To ensure that all standard Operating procedures are followed
To ensure the safe storage, and supply of Pharmaceuticals to wards, departments, and dispensaries throughout the trust.
To be responsible for the standards within the stores area, promoting good practice.
To help in the receipt of drugs
To hold a level 2 NVQ Certificate in Pharmacy Service skills (QCF) and/or Level 2 certificate in Pharmaceutical science.

You will be self-motivated and have excellent communication, time management skills and able to work effectively in a team and under own initiative.

The position demands a well organised person, who is capable of multi-tasking and demonstrates accurately following instructions in a very busy stores environment to provide a customer focused service.

Team working and organisational skills are required together with ability to prioritise when necessary. You should be able to remain calm under pressure and work conscientiously whilst paying particular attention to detail.
