Position:
Guest Service Receptionist, (Full Time40 hours per week £11.00 per hour)


Job Overview:

As a Guest Service Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests. Your role is crucial in setting the tone for their experience at our hotel.

You will provide outstanding service from the moment they arrive, ensuring their needs are met, questions are answered, and concerns are addressed with a genuine smile.


Responsibilities:


  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
  • Checkin and checkout guests efficiently, ensuring accurate information and a seamless experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Assist guests in navigating the hotel's facilities and services, providing recommendations for local attractions and dining.
  • Process reservations and room assignments with attention to detail and guest preferences.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and enhance their stay.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, ensuring all guest information is confidential and secure.
  • Demonstrate a customercentric attitude, going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of operations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of guest service, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not essential; a friendly and welcoming attitude is a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive approach to problemsolving.
  • Customerfocused mindset with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for checkin/out procedures.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
