The Company:

Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit Recruitment are delighted to be working with a charitable organisation based in Sheffield who are recruiting for a Head of Communications.

The Role:

Reporting to the Chief Executive this role will manage a small team across communications, campaign, and events management.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Developing multichannel communications, balancing digital and traditional formats
Leading on improvements to the customer journey across the organisation's services and digital landscape
Working with the organisations Leadership Management Team to ensure oversight of strategic and operations l matters to support the Chief Executive.
Leading the organisation's brand and presence across all communications and marketing channels
Working closely with colleagues to plan and deliver communications plans that underpin campaigns, fundraising and project work

The Person:

The charity are open to someone making a step up within this position, providing they have a strong background in Communications.

To succeed in this role you will demonstrate significant relevant and recent experience working in communications, either in an agency or in-house.

You will be adept at organising media activity and events, using various PR techniques and approaching a widerange of media channels.

You will possess a solutions-focused approach and prove to be a confident decision maker, in addition to demonstrating strong interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills.

It is essential that you have knowledge of the voluntary sector and someof the associated challenges.

The Benefits:

A salary of between £40,000 - £45,000, as well as generous holiday allowance, onsite parking, hybrid working and opportunities of private health care
