Our client is a leading charity located in slough, as an Executive Assistant you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation.

You will provide administrative and project support to the Executive leadership teams needed.

You will work closelywith the Executive director and the wider Senior executive team to ensure the efficient and effective running of the executive office.

The role will involve pro-actively managing both internal and external demands, as well as working on key projects withinthe Executive directors priorities.

You will need to be comfortable communicating and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including researchers, donors and supporters, and partners across the charity sector.

You will have a keen eye fordetail, outstanding organisational skills and you will also work closely with Head of Department as part of developing and maintaining excellent systems and process, and enabling the organisation to be a rewarding and welcoming place to work.

Responsibilitie

  • To be the first point of contact for their assigned executive director.
  • Exercise judgement, flexibility, tact and sensitivity in time management and in managing potential diary conflicts, having due regard for business priorities.
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of professionalism and care, taking the initiative to ensure meetings are scheduled in a timely way and that there is ongoing communication and good followup to meetings.
  • To ensure their executive directors are supported in time management, specifically the management of their diaries, travel arrangements and the coordination of external and internal team events.
  • To support their Executive Director with forward planning, document management, preparation and proofreading and some inbox management
  • To draft correspondence, presentations and briefings communications on behalf of their assigned executive directors.
  • To support their executive director in the effective delivery of Scope's programmes and projects.
  • To support the delivery of Scope's communication strategy to ensure effective communication internally across Scope and with external stakeholders.
