Catering Assistant - local to Hammersmith

We are looking for someone who has people at the heart of what they do. Do you have the passion and drive to work in our new cafe, The Olive Tree?


We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant local to Hammersmith, with a love for food and a skill for food preparation and presentation to join our team.

This position is 3 days a week currently across Monday to Friday but a 8.5 hour day is necessary.


Skills:


  • Confident to cook and prepare food
  • Offers excellent customer service
  • Able to work well with other team members including volunteers
  • Is a self starter with a can do attitude
  • Has real concern for order and quality

Main Duties to include:

  • To offer hospitality well and be able to communicate the charity's cause if necessary
  • To prepare, cook and present food well
  • To be confident serving customers and making drinks
  • To ensure that the cafe premises are clean and tidy at all times and that food is displayed in an attractive and presentable manner
  • To undertake necessary cleaning duties
  • To use kitchen equipment e.g. dishwasher
