Job Purpose

To be a DHG Customer Service Advisor you'll need to:

  • Have a genuine Customer Service mindset, always wanting to do the best you can and make every interaction you have with customers and colleagues alike a positive one. You'll be a great team player who is able to think on their feet and is resourceful. You'll be resilient, able to work well at a fast pace and thrive on turning every problem into an opportunity. As the regular point of contact for our customers, you'll be a natural when it comes to having conversations and yet will understand the importance of ensuring that every interaction is also delivered in a professional manner. And along with the top class conversational skills and can do attitude, you'll need a great level of IT skills coupled with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities

  • To learn & maintain a sound knowledge of company, products, services and pricing.
  • Communicate orders against stock, check delivery schedules and analysing sales history.
  • Provide excellent customer service by keeping the customer fully updated on status of order.
  • Communicate with staff in relevant department: sales, technical services, production, warehouse, to confirm the status of customer orders/technical service and resolve customer complaints.
  • Enter data into databases and/or business systems to maintain uptodate customer records; enter and track the status of orders and deliveries; and generate sales reports and statistics.
  • Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with all customer.
  • Agree to undertake all training offered that is necessary to maintain the skills required for this role.
  • Work in a safe manner and have a proactive approach to all Health & Safety and environmental issues.
  • Flexible attitude to work additional hours to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Adapt / adopt new methods of working and/or new technology the Company introduces and undergo training as the Company directs.
