An exciting SEN Support Worker opportunity has become available, working with KS1 and KS2 pupils with additional needs.

** £80 - £85 per day

The SEN Support Worker Role:


As an SEN Support Worker, you will be providing assistance to pupils in KS1 and KS2 with additional needs, such as Autism, ADHD, complex learning needs and physical disabilities.

You will be supporting pupils in the classroom environment, but also in smallgroups and on a 1:1 basis. It is important that you develop a strong rapport with your pupils and provide them with consistent support.

You should have a good understanding of the national curriculum and phonics and numeracy schemes, as pupils are workingat lower-ability you will be teaching this in intervention sessions.


The SEN Support Worker:


To be eligible for this SEN Support Worker role, you must hold a Level 3 SEN Support Worker qualification, and be experienced working with SEN.

You must have a calm, resilient personality, and be able to firmly set boundaries and expectations.

You should havestrong behaviour management skills and have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum and the varying individual needs of the pupils you support.
