Role Purpose
To provide a range of technical and administrative support against defined procedures with some discretion over priorities of workload. Undertakes a range of administrative and chargeable activities and resolves queries for internal / external clients.
The Technical Assistant opportunity would suit a project administrator

The Technical Assistant opportunity is a 12 month fixed term contract

Responsibilities

Prioritise and process documentation / data / information in accordance with local business requirements and agreed deadlines.
Deal with queries and build relationships with internal / external clients, as appropriate.
Support Project Manager with Monthly Reports
Carry out any duties instructed by the Team Lead/Senior Technical Assistants
Assess the risks and work in a safe manner at all times, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO), accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.

To be considered

To have completed secondary education or relevant apprenticeship.
To work in accordance with professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS0
Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work.
Experienced user of standard software: Word, Excel, Outlook as a minimum.
Experience in the marine and offshore industry, either technical or administrative / procedural.
