Our client is a market leading manufacturer/ distributor offering a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to build a career within procurement.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager this is a very involved role reposnisble for day to day purchasing ofmaterials in line with production as well as managing and developing Supplier relationships.

The Role

  • Provide support to the buying team sourcing materials and goods from international suppliers
  • Raise / process purchase orders
  • Ensure components / goods are scheduled to arrive on time
  • Updating shipments tracker accurately
  • Management of samples in and out of the business
  • Checking packaging thoroughly and providing customer with all relevant ingredients and safety data
  • Data Entry into customer portals
The Person

  • Previous experience providing support in a purchasing/ procurement department
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a timely manner
  • Work well under pressure and cope with a fastpaced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel.
  • Sage experience is preferred but not essential
Benefits

  • Monday to Friday. 8.30am 5pm
- £21,000 - £27,000 DOE + annual salary review
