Our client is a market leading manufacturer/ distributor offering a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to build a career within procurement.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager this is a very involved role reposnisble for day to day purchasing ofmaterials in line with production as well as managing and developing Supplier relationships.
The Role- Provide support to the buying team sourcing materials and goods from international suppliers
- Raise / process purchase orders
- Ensure components / goods are scheduled to arrive on time
- Updating shipments tracker accurately
- Management of samples in and out of the business
- Checking packaging thoroughly and providing customer with all relevant ingredients and safety data
- Data Entry into customer portals
- Previous experience providing support in a purchasing/ procurement department
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a timely manner
- Work well under pressure and cope with a fastpaced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel.
- Sage experience is preferred but not essential
- Monday to Friday. 8.30am 5pm
