    Business Director (UK)

    As our business continues to grow and reach new heights, we are looking for a Business Director to join us to help us with our next phase as we continue to develop our operations across EMEA. You'll be working with our management team to manage and nurture client accounts and relationships, set up commercial targets, and build synergies between team members across our external clients. You will play a pivotal role in seizing new business opportunities through a more creative approach.

    You'll have the trust and empowerment of the management team to move the needle. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future. You'll help to ensure the profitability of our company's activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success.

    Role:

    • Drive new business strategies and nurture opportunities from new and warm leads.
    • Develop compelling proposals and pitch materials - project managing pitch teams, content development for proposals, case study development, to presenting the credentials.
    • Leading all strategic and business operational initiatives, including but not limited to business and commercial planning, communication, and client and team management operations.
    • Leading monthly business reviews, forecasting, priority setting, and other leadership engagements.
    • Acting as a catalyst for operational excellence across the organisation as aligned with client's requirements at all times.
    • Owning and managing operating budgets and headcount models for the organisation, ensuring 100% compliance with policies and organisational commitments.
    • Overseeing budget planning and fiscal management processes (internally and externally) with a strong focus on driving results while building relationships.
    • Developing business goals and objectives that focus on growth and prosperity.
    • Working alongside the Talent and People Ops teams to create a cohesive and inclusive company culture.

    You:

    • Min of 10+ years in the industry, 5+ years as a Business Manager, Account Director, or pure new business role in an advertising, creative, digital or marketing agency.
    • Driven by commercial targets and achieving success in a high-growth environment
    • Ideally, a mix of agency or start-up experience with an appreciation for marketing and creative processes and output that is commercially relevant.
    • A competent leader who can provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company's vision and culture. A strategic problem solver who can provide thought leadership and learn quickly.
    • Able to demonstrate leadership and decisiveness with limited oversight and effectively navigate across a wide range of levels, roles and personality types with ease.
    • Strong communicator with demonstrated success in handling and communicating complex or sensitive business issues to senior management.
    • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development through strong analytical and financial acumen with an ability to think "end-to-end".
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Proven experience with creating high-level presentations for a broad range of audiences.
    • A positive individual who can motivate and inspire.
    • High tolerance and appreciation towards ambiguity and change.
