**Job Description

PACKING & DESPATCH Supervisor**
Reports To:Despatch Manager

Job Function/Purpose:

To Oversee the Smooth Running Of The packing & despatch Department

Principal Responsibilities:

To maintain productivity in the department
Supervise the Packing and Despatch team ensuring that all stock, works orders are completed on time.
Co-ordinate with Unit 14 to ensure a time efficient flow of parts between the two buildings.
To act as cover for the despatch manger when not on site, taking on daily tasks such s resource management/meeting and any other duties we seem fit
Endeavour to finish all daily order requirements in a time honoured fashion and to ensure that the despatch department is adequately manned to meet the earliest possible end of day.
Adhering to the BPL PIC stock check policy
Ensure all EHS policies are adhered to
Ensure full utilisation of all resource in both departments
Problem solve any issues that arise in the department alongside the Despatch Manager
Identify any improvements within the department
Good level of communication with other department supervisor to maintain a constant flow of products through departments
Ensure preservation of products is maintained
ISHO Managing safely Certificate
Ensure that all warehouse staff adheres to company policy and that discipline is maintained
To take a responsible approach to Health and Safety
Ensure that the Housekeeping is kept to a high standard at all time
Fulfil any training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development
Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position
