A new opportunity has arisen to join Moss House CMHT as a physical health support worker.


This role will involve completing physical health checks, including blood tests and ECGs, for service users of the Moss House Community Mental Health Team.

Applicants must have completed phlebotomy and ECG training.

Complete physical health checks for community mental health team service users, both within the CMHT and in the community.


To take ECGs, blood pressure and blood samples of service users and record these accurately in the electronic records system.

To provide lifestyle and health advice to service users, with advice from senior team members.

Organise clinics on site and arrange to see service users in their own homes.

Work flexibly, responding to the needs of the service and our service users, with guidance from senior team members.

You will be supported within a multi disciplinary team, consisting of nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychological therapists and support staff.

Main responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 interventions with service users, in a community setting.

Monitoring of physical health under guidance of Senior nurse practitioner.

Participating in regular supervision.

Ensure appropriate records are maintained under the Senior nurse practitioner
