Job Title:
People, Talent and Compliance Administrator


Accountable to:
Director of People, Partnerships & Strategic Projects


Main Role:

Working with the People, Talent and Compliance Executives to ensure the HR process is administered and recorded accurately.


Supporting the People, Talent and Compliance Executives to ensure Health and Safety procedures are practiced and communicated effectively throughout the company.

To support on projects that work towards overall business improvements, to include Quality Management,

Environment, CSR and any topic deemed to be of relevance.


To support in the offering of a company-wide central training and development plan that ensures a smooth and effective coordination, delivery and continued support to all new starters and existing employees.


To support in the development of all employees with their personal development programmes and to offer support to all line managers in the co-ordination and delivery where required.


To have an understanding of the principals of staff engagement within Inntel and an appreciation of how training and development forms an important part of this.


Duties and Responsibilities:


People & Talent

  • Support the administration of Inntel's Human Resource function. Ensuring personnel records are up to date and accurately reflect personal details and employment terms including Job Descriptions,
Terms and Conditions of Employment, Handbook, Induction, Appraisals, Probationary Period,Disciplinary records, Maternity related information.

  • First line point of contact for all HR advice and support to all Inntel Managers on HR matters including legislation, disciplinary matters, performance management issues
  • With the Director of Commercial Partnerships & Projects, support the implementation and review of all company policies.
  • Support with new staff inductions
  • Support the appraisal process across all departments
  • Produce monthly HR Management Information as required
  • Research and implement staff wellbeing initiatives (with the People, Talent and Compliance
Executives)

  • Support with the induction programme for all new starters and ensure this is completed throughout the first year of employment
  • Encourage and promote staff engagement in order to enhance the welfare of staff and encourage a workplace approach designed to ensure that employees are motivated to contribute to Inntel's success, the culture desired by the company, and are able at the same time to enhance their own sense of wellbeing
  • Produce documentation for inhouse training courses
  • Amend and revise training documents as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
  • Keep up to date with industry developments in by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses;
  • Ensure an understanding of elearning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of elearning packages

Health & Safety

  • Support with ensuring Health and Safety procedures are practiced and communicated effectively throughout the company including Workstation Assessments, First Aider/Fire Marshall information, updates to the Fire Roll-Call list and supplying employees with up to date manuals/training materials

Compliance

  • Coordinate Inntel's CSR activities including the travel plan and corporate volunteering days
  • Support with maintaining our Investors in People accreditation
  • Minute Quality review meetings as required.
  • Support with internal audits in accordance with guidelines and Audit Schedule.
  • Ensure all Non-Conformances are recorded and actioned in accordance with quality procedures.

General Support

  • To accept and practice _total quality commitment_ to the mutual benefit of the Company and its clients.
  • To partake in the day to day incidentals required to maintain a pleasant work environment.
  • To seek to identify any potential opportunities which would benefit the operation and or the administration of the Company and or its employees.
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors on arrival and ensuring they are signed in, in accordance with company policy.
  • To control and maintain stock levels of office supplies including stationery, tea/coffee/milk.
  • Any other tasks which may be deemed necessary from time to time to further enhance the position of People,
Talent and Compliance Administrator in particular or the Company in general

Key Qualifications

  • Good GCSE'S grades (or equivalent) in Maths and English. Level 4 grade is desirable.
