A great opportunity has arisen to join leading supplier to the ever-growing building industry


As an Area Representative, you will be responsible for developing an existing territory & increasing market share in your area.

This is mainly but not solely by ensuring the promotion, presence & availability with a clear understanding of the targeted rangeof products to the applicable channels & customers in your area industry.

Generating an increasing turnover and margin from the territory will be the main goal by offering your customer support & representation.


Skills / Experience / knowledge:

  • Relationship management; Able to discuss/translate technical product details with customers; Clear ability to listen for opportunities and translate to offers
  • Selfdiscipline to succeed in a field based, autonomous and selfsufficient role. An experienced representative, with a track record of securing new business
  • IT skills MS Office and/or CRM system

Performance Indicators:

  • Delivering agreed sales volume targets
  • Number of POS and average sales per POS
  • Customer retention and POS/Customer activation
  • Margin growth though offering best value for money to your customers and consequently to installers and endusers
  • CRM system use by consulting and adding up to date information

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Worked within the builder's merchant sector.
  • Sales experience, within a merchant or external.
  • Worked within the Insulation sector, preferred by not essential.
  • Proficiency with sales software, particularly CRM (customer relationship management) systems.
  • Drive & willing to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • No issues with staying away from home to cover their defined areas.

Package details:

- £35k basic - with great bonus potential. (Depending on experience).

  • 25 days holiday Inc all bank holidays.

  • To be confirm which type of car due to delays in production. (fuel card provided or claim company fuel back).
  • Company Credit Card.
- iPad provided.

  • Laptop Provided.
This position is covering the Yorkshire and North East area
