A fantastic opportunity for a part qualified accountant to step up into a manager role with a professional services firm, who partner with private equity, real estate and capital markets clients

As a Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of companies, deliverables include:

  • Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts, preparation of annual statutory financial statements and preparation of group consolidated statutory accounts.
  • Maintaining the books and records of the companies in their portfolio.
  • Calculating effective interest rates of financial instruments.
  • Preparation of tax declarations to UK tax authorities (VAT, P11D assistance, CIS, Intrastat, EC Sales List).
  • Responsible for the setup of newly onboarded companies in allocated portfolio.
  • Attend clients' meetings and demonstrate professional rapport with all clients.

Requirements for the Manager role:

  • Part Qualified (or close to PQ) ACCA or CIMA
  • Must have experience working with Auditors
  • Financial services background is advantageous
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS102) accounting standards, including IAS39 Financial Instruments Disclosure
  • Understanding of VAT and experience in preparing and submitting VAT returns
