Manufacturing Futures are working with a successful electronics business that is looking to appoint an Hardware Design Engineer.

he appointed Hardware Design Engineer will be experienced within electronics hardware design and comfortable interacting with projectmanagers, mechanical engineers and software engineers on multi-faceted projects.

As Hardware Design Engineer you will need to be able to work autonomously on complex projects with lots of regulations and standards to adhere to.

Hardware Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Electronic Engineering / Hardware / PCB / Circuit Design

  • Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification
  • Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines
  • Varied role encompassing all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics, layout design, circuit design and test engineering
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Liaise with other members of the engineering team and direct junior members of staff
  • Participate on reviews of design work (both your own work and that of colleagues)

Hardware Design Engineer - The Person - Electronic Engineering / Hardware / PCB / Circuit Design

  • Degree educated in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or similar)
  • Proficient in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout software
  • Experience with typical engineering software
