    Description

    Arcas Technology is collaborating with a prominent Solicitors firm in London, currently seeking a skilled IT Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

    Job Title: IT Manager

    Company: Leading Solicitors in London

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide 2nd & 3rd line support to users, working with third-party managed service providers when needed.
    • Oversight of physical server operations, virtual machine management, and server replication.
    • Offer comprehensive IT support across all business levels.
    • Handle day-to-day administration of hardware and software, including deployment and replacement for end-users.
    • Manage user accounts and identities.
    • Actively participate in Cybersecurity oversight.
    • Develop and maintain monitoring tools to track infrastructure performance, covering networking, servers, and security, with regular reporting.
    • Manage audits, procurement, and IT asset management, including software licenses, hardware warranties, equipment distribution, and web domains and hosting.
    • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing IT disaster recovery plans, ensuring strong security measures aligned with industry best practices.

    Key Skills Required

    • Proficiency in configuring and managing hybrid Active Directory environments.
    • Hands-on experience with deploying and administering Microsoft Intune.
    • Competence in on-premises server and switch configuration, including VMWare environments.
    • Ability in developing and managing SharePoint sites.
    • Experienced with Ubiquiti and SonicWALL.
    • Familiarity with the Sophos suite of security products.
    • DNS, DHCP, VLANs
    • Experience in setting up and managing VOIP phone systems.
    • Strong understanding of GDPR regulations and their implementation in IT practices.
    • Knowledge or experience with Firewalls and VPNs.
