    Job Title: Marketing Compliance Consultant

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Location: London, Edinburgh, or Alderley Edge

    Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

    Closing date: 7th June 2024

    Royal London's Marketing and Communications team have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Compliance Consultant to join the team.

    This is a newly created role whereby the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in reviewing Royal London Asset Management financial promotions, ensuring they are compliant in line with FCA rules.

    About the role

    • Assess and approve Royal London Asset Management financial promotions and documents.
    • Offer marketing compliance support and guidance to all areas of the Proposition & Strategy and Marketing teams.
    • Be the first point of contact for compliance queries and investment management.
    • Provide compliance advice for marketing projects in relation to financial promotions.
    • Conduct control testing of the financial promotions review and approval process.
    • Deliver training to the Marketing Compliance team to help increase their knowledge.
    • Deliver compliance insight by monitoring regulatory developments at the FCA.

    About you

    • Proven experience in a Marketing Compliance role within an Asset Management firm is essential.
    • Knowledge of the FCA financial promotions rules and wider regulatory environment and framework is essential.
    • Excellent knowledge of investment matters in UCITS and AIFMD.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders in the business.
    • IMC qualified would be advantageous but not essential.
    • Working knowledge of IMA rules.
