Located just off the A1, our world is on your doorstep and offers a familiar home from home surroundings for children whilst ensuring they have the encouragement and facilities to develop.

We are looking for an early educator apprentice who would like to develop a career in childcare whilst completing a level 3 qualification in early years with PEAK apprenticeships.

Key person responsibilities:

To help ensure each child feels safe and secure

Observes each child and shapes their learning experience to reflect their observations

Helping out with activities with the children

Setting up activities and clearing them away

Ensuring that the environment is kept clean and tidy

Helping out at meal times

Greeting parents and children

Ensuring any relevant paperwork is completed

Work with children, individually and in groups to assist and improve their development

Attend training sessions and meetings relevant to the post

Other general duties as and when required

Desired Qualifications:
GCSE maths and English at grades 4/C or above or equivalent

Hours:
Min 30 hour week. Hours could be between 8-5:45pm.

Duration: 18months

Start date:
Immediate

Apprenticeship time: 6 hours per week. Fortnightly training either online or in your workplace.

Starting wage:
£5.28 per hour
