What will the apprentice be doing?

Supporting and eventually leading the delivery of Physical Education and sports coaching across year groups.
Break and lunch supervision
Leading interventions/movement breaks throughout the day

37 hours per week with times ranging from 8am - 4:30pm.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Opportunity to obtain a L4 School Sports Coach apprenticeship with PEAK apprenticeships.

This will involve the apprentice having face to face tutoring sessions fortnightly as well as coaching support during the week based in the school.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Employment within a school as a school sports coach.
Employment with PEAK as a Physical Education Coordinator.

Interviews will be taking place on Monday 1st July from 9am-1:30pm

Start date will commence in September 2024
