The Training Coordinator will support the L&D team to administer training events, manage invitations and lists, providing key administrative contact for Learning queries or administration.


The responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external training including diary management, room and venue bookings, overnight accommodation, travel requirements, catering needs and any other special requirements.
  • To provide training statistics to the business.
  • Work with department managers and the learning and development (L&D) manager to identify and procure the most suitable training providers for external training provision.
  • Manage attendees and nonattendees and course listings through LMS and Compliance Portal
  • Oversee and manage any communications between Learning and Development, course providers and course attendees inclusive of collating course feedback.
  • Process invoices for the department, updating and maintaining the training budget spreadsheet to reflect expenditure and balance.
  • Ensure the learning management system is well maintained with user details accuracy and maintained learning records.
  • Provide general administrative duties to the L&D department including printing learning resources, uploading learning documents to learner records, updating and maintaining training budget records and ordering resources (Not an exhaustive list)

Person Specification

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Strong administration skills set, preferably with a qualification in business administration and or can demonstrate experience in an office environment.
  • Previous experience in training, events, and marketing would be advantageous.
  • Be a proficient user of Excel to be able to create tables, manipulate data with formulas (SUM, averages and pivot tables).
  • Previous experience of a Training Management System/eLearning and an understanding of various training organisations (Health and Safety, Compliance and People Skills) is desirable but not essential.


This role will be worked over a 25 hours per week; Monday to Friday but this is negotiable, with a Pro Rata salary of £16,914 - £19,380.

Flexibility in this role is critical to the success of supporting the team.
