The Dealing Analyst role is within the UK Unit Dealing team that provides deal placement for Collective Investment Scheme & related services for SSC clients ensuring accuracy and timeliness at all times.

UK Unit Dealing interacts with external clients, internal fund accounting, cash and custody processing and client service teams.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the daily execution of Fund Manager Unit Dealing for collective investment schemes and provide approval for the daily executing of Unit Dealing ensuring that all relevant checks have been completed for accuracy and timeliness, to meet the stringentinternal and external deadlines
  • Provide secondary approval for the daily executing of Unit Dealing ensuring that all relevant checks have been made for accuracy and timeliness, to meet the stringent internal and external deadlines
  • Provide approval in the daily confirmation and loading of deals into State Street systems following strict procedures to ensure accurate capture of nominal, prices and shares in a timely manner
  • Ensure effective logging and resolution of enquiries and liaise with appropriate parties to resolve/escalate queries/problems within agreed timescales
  • Assist in holding reconciliations insuring client funds match to fund manager holdings statements. Any differences are fully explained, documented and corrected in a timely manner
  • Participate in projects and implement client changes
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients, third parties and colleagues, communicating effectively through formalised reporting and ad hoc liaison
  • Be aware and discharge specific responsibilities as laid out in the UKMEA Global services Senior Manager Regime Compliant document where relevant
  • Ensure compliance with the Senior Manager Regime for your function

Level of Education/ Specific Qualifications:


  • Key Technical Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Fund accounting and/or pricing experience and/or dealing gained within Unit Linked, Pension or Retail Funds' environment. ( desirable)
  • Excellent Customer Services skills (essential)
  • Good Excel skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the investment regulations (desirable)

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Fund accounting and/or pricing experience and/or dealing gained within Unit Linked, Pension or Retail Funds' environment. ( desirable)
