Description

St Michael's Hospital is a mental health in-patient unit, open 24/7, 365 days/nights per year with a Reception/Switchboard that supports all bases/sites for CWPT out-of-hours.


We rely on a team of admin staff to provide continual cover across days and nights for the Reception/Switchboard, to support patients, staff and visitors, some of whom may be distressed and in crisis.

This includes the handling of telephone calls for on-call rotas during out-of-hours, eg, IT, Clinicians, Management, Estates, etc.

This is a responsible post working with all staff disciplines and requires careful handling of calls, ensuring callers are put through to the correct person and team.

Interviews:
To be carried out face-to-face but in line with Covid-safe requirements at all NHS sites.


Please note that you will require a Disclosure and Barring Service check, which you will be required to pay for, and to sign up to NHS Professionals (NHS bank agency) to cover any additional shifts over and above your normal shift pattern when required.
