Post No. POSN Social Work Assistant

This is a temporary post covering a secondment for 12 months.

We are a Child Protection Team dealing with complex safeguarding and welfare cases alongside Court work, from prebirth to 18 years old.

You will be working alongside Social Workers assisting them in various finance and admin tasks, undertaking some direct work and family contacts, transporting children, and helping complete life story work, chronologies and other pieces of work.

You will need to be able to work in a team, with multiagency working key, often to short timescales, within confidentiality, and be able to build good working relationships with children, young people, and their families.
