Job Introduction

Overview:

Under the general guidance and supervision of the Head Chef, the kitchen team member will assist in the preparation and service of events at the ACC, whilst learning and adhering to all company health and food safety legislation.

Main Objectives:

To assist with the culinary delivery of events at the ACC
To deliver the highest level of catering wherever possible

Culinary Team
FOH team
Account Managers
Client

Duties & Responsibilities:

To deliver and present the food as per the ACC specification.
To ensure that all stock is checked in and stored away correctly. Keep back of house areas clean and tidy at all times.
Assist the chef with the presentation of all food and beverage, ensuring quality, quantity are consistently monitored, maintained and display is as per set specification.
Ensure personal and food hygiene, in food services areas and kitchen are adhered to, as per company policy.
Ensure that at the end of each service the kitchen is cleaned down and ready for the following shift.
Ensure that back of house is kept clean and tidy at all times, including fridge and freezers and other store areas.
Adhere to standard recipes and food specifications and knowledge book and plating specifications.

Able to work within a team and on own initiative
Willingness to learn
