Position:

An exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service to the Bank's Savings customers.

The team member will help the Bank's Savings business achieve its goal of being 'the UK's most respected savings provider' by dealing with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

They will carry out all duties in a manner that reflects the company's values at all times.


The role holder will be responsible for resolving customers' queries in a timely manner, providing written responses where appropriate and acting as a contact for incoming telephone queries while providing exceptional customer service to customers.


The CSO will be a key member of the team and should be passionate about customer service and providing an outstanding customer journey, enabling us to maintain our award winning customer service.

Requirements:


Qualifications/Experience

You must:

  • Have a background in customer services, either face to face or over the phone, be able to handle enquiries from customers with care and attention, taking ownership of each enquiry
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service, through exceptional communication and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate good judgement skills whilst being able to work on your own initiative
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience of working within Savings or Banking

It would be nice if you had:

  • Understanding of ISA /process regulations

Other information:


  • Take full ownership of customer queries, ensuring the customer is fully aware of processes and happy with the end result.
  • Provide fantastic customer service to all customers, whatever the situation.
  • Deal with daily tasks such as opening customer accounts, maintaining records, payments and inputting transactions on our internal system (Phoebus).
  • Work with the Senior Customer Service Officers team to embed our cultures and values in your day to day role. Use all of our values especially 'Customer Matters' as guidelines on how we deal with our Customers.
  • Adhere to the bank's regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Take ownership of your own development to enhance your skills & knowledge.
