Claims Handler CH

Pre Lit RTA

Keoghs are seeking a Claims Handler (CH3) to join their Liverpool team.

The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including PI from inception to settlement.

Key Accountabilities

To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of prelitigated motor claims including PI from inception to settlement
To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity
To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service
To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance
Interact and communicate with clients
Mentoring, training and to be the technical referral point for other team members
Auditing of files, if required.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Experience of dealing with motor PI claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable
Experience of the MOJ portal, stages 1 and
Prelitigation experience
Experience of handling claims outside of the MOJ and the predictive cost regime
Experience of mentoring is desirable
Customer service experience
Excellent attention to detail
Negotiation skills
Communication skills
Organisational skills
Ability to mentor and support new starters.
