An SEMH Classroom Assistant opportunity has become available, working with children with SEMH needs and a range of SEN.

As an SEMH Classroom Assistant, you will be supporting learning in the classroom and assisting teachers with managing challenging behaviour and pastoral issues.

You will support learners with SEN, so it is important you are confident with differentiating work to suitably challenge their level of ability.

You will work alongside the pastoral team to provide effective intervention support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.


The School:


This Pupil Referral Unit located near Central Birmingham caters for pupils in KS1 and KS2 with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and SEN that cannot be met by a mainstream setting.

As an SEMH Classroom Assistant, you will have access to a wide range of resources to assist you with your work, and extensive training to further your development.
