Clyde
The HR Advisor - 52 weeks FTC is based within our Clyde business area.

As the Ministry of Defence's commercial partner at HMNB Clyde, Babcock provides specialist engineering support services, including the management of infrastructure and nuclear facilities.

We also deliver operational maintenance, upgrades and repairs to support Royal Navy vessels, including the Vanguard and Astute-Class nuclear submarines.

The role

The difference our new HR Advisor - 52 weeks FTC will make
Ensure the Company sickness and performance management policies are implemented through supporting employees and people managers

Facilitate coaching and mentoring on performance improvement plans, and providing advice where appropriate such that an efficient and timely service is provided

Promote a culture of continuous improvement by being proactive and providing alternative solutions to complex operational problems thus enhancing service delivery.

Essential experience

Minimum CIPD qualified or working towards a Level 5 CIPD qualification with relevant experience gained within a complex business or equivalent experience and working towards chartered membership.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of Company Policy and Procedure and current Employment Law Legislation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and as part of an effective team
Ability to influence and resolve conflict
You will hold or have the ability to obtain SC clearance
