Delivery Manager / Agile Project Manager required to work on multiple cloud and digital software projects for this mid-sized Media business.


They are going through a digital transformation and want a pragmatic individual to effective implement multiple concurrent projects working with and managing the relationship with internal and external teams and stakeholders at all levels.


You will manage the delivery of the technology roadmaps, establish and agree best practice to improve the efficiency and quality of software delivery in an Agile Scrum environment.

This will include facilitating agile ceremonies, change initiative and end-to-end delivery. A background in Agile Project Management will help.


Location:

Fully remote or you can work flexibly from their office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent if you prefer(you do not have to go in, it is choice).


Salary:
To £70K plus bonus plus benefits
including Private Health, Pension, Life Assurance, Training & Development & Employee Assistance Programme


They require:

  • Commercial experience in managing software development teams / projects, with at least 2 years being in a commercial agile environment.
  • Delivered multiple Digital & Technical projects with an understanding of cloud (Azure, GCP or AWS).
  • Management experience of full lifecycle system development with teams of developers, analysts and testers/QAss including remote teams and third parties.
  • Understanding of best practices in Project Management, Product Design, Requirement Analysis, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Automation & Unit Testing in a software development environment.
  • Proven capability in managing team dynamics, building team relationships, mentoring team members and delivering feedback.
  • Experience in release planning, estimation, capacity planning and managing project risks in a multiScrum environment.
  • Experience with Kanban, Extreme Programming, Scrum or other lean / agile techniques.
  • A 'cando' attitude to resolve issues and risks as well as to focus on delivery and quality to agreed timescales.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Highly organised and strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Familiar with project management methodologies (Lean, Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) & tools egJira, Confluence, Smartsheet.
  • Ability to juggle varying priorities and projects.
  • Enthusiastic and a great motivator, with experience managing/driving projects independently.
  • Emotionally intelligent and selfaware.
  • Proactive and pragmatic, passionate about change and challenging the status quo.
