    Partner - Commercial

    TSR Legal are currently partnering with a well regarded Legal 100 law firm based in Cardiff who are looking to recruit a Partner for the Commercial team at either equity or salaried level.

    Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking law firm specialising in providing comprehensive legal services to businesses of all sizes both nationally and internationally including some of most well regarded public sector organisations. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering practical solutions to their clients' commercial challenges, our client has established itself as leaders in the industry.

    The firm are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Commercial Solicitor to join the growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with a particular focus on Technology matters.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial matters, with a particular focus on Technology matters within public sector
    • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on a range of commercial issues, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
    • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients' business objectives and mitigate risks
    • Collaborate closely with colleagues across different practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive and commercially astute advice at all times
    • Mentor and supervise junior members of the team, providing support and guidance as needed

    Requirements:

    • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE
    • Extensive experience in handling a wide range of commercial matters
    • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to draft complex legal documents accurately and efficiently
    • Commercially minded with the ability to understand clients' business objectives and provide pragmatic legal advice
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with excellent time management and organizational skills
