Description
We're looking for aStores Person to join our Utilities, South West Water team.
Within this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme.
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.In this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.
In the role of Stores Person, you will work closely in a team and other colleagues to work on schemes including mains laying, pressure management, district metering and large and complex mains repairs.

Responsibilities
As a Stores Person for the South West Water team your day-to-day will include:
- Completion of spares pricing check via Update Stock Issues.
- Booking out of stock & booking in of returns. This includes controlling // Issuing of PPE across various sites under the NSA contract.
- Planned hastening activity with our Suppliers of outstanding spares/ services within the scheduled allocated time frames.
- Arranging NSA logistics waste management collection as required, using established methods. Also maintaining a fit for purpose stores.
Who are we looking for?
- Full UK Driving Licence
- It would also be beneficial to hold relevant CSCS/ CPSC & NRSWA cards, along with utility experience, but not essential as we will provide full training and development
