Crime Clerical Officer

Location:
Huddersfield Police Station


Salary:
£24, £27,351.00 per annum

One full-time permanent post of 37 hours.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a small dedicated team, supporting the Police and victims of crime by carrying out a vital administrative role.

This post will be based at Huddersfield Police Station.

Please note our HQ will be moving to Dewsbury, the move is planned to be in the last quarter of 2025 when the post will move to the new Dewsbury HQ.

The post holder will be responsible for a range of different functions which will include:

  • updating and maintaining computer systems to ensure accurate, up to date information is available and that all records comply with Home Office Counting Rules (HOCR) and National Crime Recording Systems (NCRS).
- reviewing requests and disclosing relevant information to insurance companies in relation to criminal matters.
- receiving, recording, filing and destroying paperwork and associated evidence in relation to non-court matters.

Full training will be provided and then you will be required to work independently without close supervision.
