Cloisters Café & Garden at Chichester Cathedral

£28,000 per annum (DOE)

Working 5 over 7 days a week

8 am - 6 pm (some evenings & weekends, when events require)

28 days pro rata including bank holidays per annum

Seasoned has recently opened a new Café within the 600-year-old Cloisters at Chichester Cathedral. In addition, we operate a range of events including weddings, gala dinners & parties.

The venue will operate 7 days a week with a working pattern 5 over 7 encompassing breakfast, lunch, hot snacks, homemade bakes and afternoon teas all prepared fresh on site from local suppliers with the freedom and scope to write our own menus.

The role
Take the lead on delivering the events throughout the cathedral grounds and assisting in the onsite café.

The role will include dealing with clients from enquiry, quote & delivery so experience in a client facing role is required.

The day to day

Events lead for all functions across the cathedral grounds.
Responding to quotes for events business.
Set up & delivery of all events with support from the onsite team.
Shift leading in the onsite café around events duties.
Assisting the GM in admin duties to support the business.
Support the GM in ideas to boost bookings & retain clients.

Essential

Experience working events at a supervisor level.
Hospitality experience.

Desired

Level 2 food safety.
