HR Officer | Chislehurst | Full-time | Permanent | £25,000 - £28,000

Hybrid Working - Approx 3 days onsite and 2 from home. Flexible hours available.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solid HR Officer to join our client's values driven charitable organisation based in Chislehurst.

Reporting into the HR Manager, this role will be assisting with all of the HR administration and recruitment processes.

The role would suit someone who is keen to gain further exposure in HR, recruitment and compliance within a supportive environment.


A car driver would be ideal for the role but, not essential.

Role Duties:


  • Responsible for recruitment administration including posting job adverts, liaising with agencies, shortlisting, holding screening calls and continuously monitoring job advert performances.
  • Manage the recruitment inbox and respond accordingly.
  • Regularly update hiring managers on recruitment progress.
  • Completing comprehensive compliance checks post job offers including; DBS checks, right to work checks, Visas and reference checking
  • Responsible for the onboarding of new starters including inductions, arranging training and follow up checks.
  • Assist with personnel audits and keep HR systems updated with any changes to employee records.
  • Opportunity to take minutes in investigation/disciplinary/grievance meetings (training will be given).
  • General HR administration
  • Minimum of a years' experience within either a HR Administration or internal recruitment position
  • Strong administration skills including working at pace and dealing with changing priorities
  • Ability to work with a variety of people and be a team player
  • Excellent attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong IT skills
