Due to a new business opportunity, we have a requirement for Supervisor position(s) to join our Milk Transport team based in the North Lancashire - Kendal/Lancaster/Preston.


In this role, you will support the Contract Operations Manager with the smooth transition of the new contract into the business.

You will provide effective supervising activities with our driver team, with responsibility for ensuring that all work is distributed whilst complying with all transport legislation, health & safety and customer service requirements.

Your duties will include briefing and de-briefing with our drivers to ensure deliveries are completed in a safe manner and in accordance with company standards.

You will liaise directly with our customers and stakeholders ensuring any queries are responded to in a professional manner.

You will also support on collating management info and KPI's and ensure that site compliance, health, safety, and security is maintained.


To be successful in this role you have a successful background in the transport sector, with knowledge and experience of continuous improvement.

You will have a good understanding of legal compliance, driver's hours and WTD's and knowledge of transport management systems & vehicle telematics.

You will have a flexible approach to work demands and need to be an effective communicator with great organisational skills, being able to stay calm under pressure, thriving in a busy and fast-paced environment.


In return we offer:

an attractive salary, between £30-35k dependent on experience, access to benefits such as life assurance, sickness, and pension schemes.

The role will work on a rolling shift pattern of 4 days on 4 days off, 12 hours per day with a 45-minute unpaid break.

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
