_We are looking for a Learning Resources Assistant for our client in Redbridge, London._MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In common with all other staff:1.1 To support the College's mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.

1.5 To contribute to the College's commitment to continuous improvement as identified in the College's quality assurance systems.
PARTICULAR TO THE POST:
2.1 Managing and supervising the day-to-day operation of the Learning Resource Centre.
2.2 Providing support and assistance to students and staff in accessing learning resources, including books, e-books, journals, and online databases.
2.4 Contributing to the development and delivery of induction and information literacy programs.
2.5 Supporting the use of learning technology, including the College's Virtual Learning
Environment.
2.6 Maintaining the LRC's physical and online resources, including cataloguing and shelving books and maintaining the LRC's website and social media accounts.
2.8 Providing assistance and support for events and activities hosted in the LRC.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
3.1 Relevant experience of working in a learning resource center or library.
3.2 Experience of using learning technologies and online resources.
3.3 Excellent communication and customer service skills.
3.4 High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
3.5 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3.6 Level 2 Qualification in English and Maths.

Contract length: 2 months
Salary:
£13.05-£17.54 per hour
