Role Introduction:

As a project co-ordinator, you will play a key role in driving the velocity of professional services projects, supporting both project managers and technical consultants in the delivery of projects to Advanced ITO customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide high level project coordination services on customer projects across the spectrum of the Advanced Managed Services professional services portfolio, with an emphasis on small projects and 'small works' changes
  • Drive and track the velocity and performance to budget on small works projects, preemptively assessing whether work will complete inline with agreed budgets and raising customer change requests where required
  • Work with technical consultants and account managers to ensure small works projects have all resource forward booked in line with consultants plans and there are realistic revenue forecasts in place
  • Understand and be able to proactively resolve any impediments to progress that the small works technical teams may have in order to ensure customer delivery is achieved and velocity is maintained
  • Produce a set of KPI's and progress reporting for the Professional Services Leadership Team, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency, technical consultant utilisation and improving the timetovalue for our customers
  • Support the Team of portfolio and project managers, administering the resource allocation and management process across all Professional Services projects
  • Work closely with consultants to ensure customer satisfaction at all stages of an implementation, including regular feedback on issues and opportunities.
  • Assist the Resource Desk Manager in governing the process for professional services resource allocation to projects, implementing changes and improvements to process under their direction.
  • Develop professionally in our ongoing programme which should lead to future progression into full project management roles.
  • On occasion, take up secondment to special projects, providing administrative support where required.

What You Will Have:

  • An obsession with servicing our customers to the highest of professional standards.
  • A passion for working in a fast paced and varied professional services team, coordinating a volume of projects, each typically less than 10 days in length
  • A strong sense of accountability and drive to see projects through to completion and closure
  • An inquisitive and curious nature to understand our customers business and the impact your work has on their user productivity
  • A strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity of status and accuracy of information reported
  • An understanding of the Advanced ITO business and product portfolio.
