Budwood Limited provides homes for young people who are in care of the Local Authority and who are unable to live with their family.

We support young people aged years old, providing them with a loving home, an abundance of care and nurture.

We are looking for Social Work Assistants to work directly with our children and young people progressing their support plans (in terms of emotional wellbeing, skill buidling, independece and education).

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes senior social worker, Head of Education, Therapist / Psychologist, residential support workers and managers.

The succesful applicant will be a positive role model, build relationships with young people to help them achieve their potential.

You will undertake direct work, be creative in your approach. You will have a case load of young people who you will visit regularly.

This is an exciting new role witin Budwood, to ensure Budwood as a service improves outcomes for children and care leavers.

We are looking for experienced, energetic and enthusiastic workers who are driven to succeeed.

This role is suited to social worker assistants, youth workers, teaching assistants and those that have experienced in direct work wth young people.

A car is essential as the role involves driving within the county, undertaking visits to placements. Flexible working is vital, to allow for young people to be seen after school, evenings and the occasional weekend.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
