At Sizewell B Power Station, we're looking for a new member of our Supply Chain team to join us as a Contract Liaison Officer, predominantly focuses on the provision of engineering services.
This will involve working with a combination of key partners and tactical suppliers who are responsible for maintaining and improving the station and keeping our customers in the supply of electricity.
In your role as a Contract Liaison Officer, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of operational contracts.Driving performance, developing relationships with suppliers and identifying commercial opportunities and service improvements will all be paramount to your success in this position.

We can offer a competitive salary from £40,069 - £60,826 and you'll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Nuclear Generation Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.
What you'll be doing
In this position, there's a real opportunity to take ownership of our agreements, to deliver exceptional service to our internal and external customers.
Your key duties will include:
- Managing the performance of contractors in accordance with the relevant contract requirements and business operational needs, to ensure the best value and services from suppliers are achieved in terms of cost, quality, and productivity
- Building relationships with key stakeholders and communicating relevant contractual information
- Identifying and implementing opportunities/improvements for commercial efficiencies across operational activities and contracts
- Leading on contract negotiations and implementation of contract variations as required
- Providing contractrelated issue resolution to any arising supplier disputes or escalations
- Ensuring that all processes followed are in line with legislation and company policies and are auditable
- Completing contract closeout, reviewing contracts for extension or renewal and assisting procurement teams where applicable for reprocurement.
Who you are
You'll need to hold an HNC or equivalent in a business discipline and basic contract management or Procurement/Purchasing experience is important.
You'll need the ability to deliver information and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels, using your excellent communication and analytical skills.
You should be self-motivated, have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.More jobs from EDF Limited
